A [Soul]ist Aurora
Meet Ha jin a.k.a Soulist-Aurora, an illustrator and graphic designer from Seoul, Korea who finds inspiration in fashion photography and music. Her illustrative style is a variety of handmade and digital techniques elegantly executed. Her work looks as though it has been created with such ease, yet it is bold. It’s hard not be attracted to the way Ha jin can compose something romantic, slightly retro and yet relevant and sophisticated in nature. In 2009 she had her first solo show in Tokyo titled “Soul of Seoul”, and the year after that she participated in a group show in Australia. Currently she’s working as an illustrator and graphic designer in her native Korea.
